First National Bank of South Padre Island now offers Instant-Issue debit cards.

To activate your new debit card call 1-800-717-4923 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


In order to make your online shopping more secure when using your debit card, we are now offering Mastercard Secure Card. This service will enable you to create a personal user ID that you can use to set up certain alerts to the mobile telephone number(s) via SMS text messages and/or email address(es) you have designated. Card lost or stolen? In the FNBSPI App, you can choose to lock or unlock the card.

Locking your card will: 

  • NOT prevent you from using your account while your card is locked.
  • NOT stop pending or recurring transactions from being process.
